I have a new friend: He flies for Delta and we'll leave it at that. He just sent me a slew of fantastic pictures from this past summer as he did his best to avoid thunderstorms up and down the east coast. This is part one of three:

I see more of a Mt. St. Michel off the northern coast of France myself.
